Welcome New Staff Members

The new school year finds eleven new members joining the current members serving our 1,300 students. The strength of the Red Oak School District is directly tied to education partners that join the organization each year. Please see the introductory pictures and descriptions. Best wishes are extended to all in the Red Oak Community for a positive, productive, and learning-filled school year!

SueAnn Crouse returns home to Red Oak to teach Kindergarten.  She is a 2009 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University.  Since graduation, Ms. Crouse has been substitute teaching.

Eunice Culbertson joins the Food Service Staff at Inman Primary. 

Jennifer Elarton returns to the Red Oak School District as a para-professional.  Mrs. Elarton is a graduate of Buena Vista University with a degree in Elementary Education.

Lauren Finn joins the Red Oak School District as the English Language Learning teacher.  Ms. Finn is a 2010 graduate of Iowa State University.

Brian Gartner joins the staff as the band director for Red Oak High. He is a 2008 graduate of University of Northern Iowa.  Most recently he was a substitute teacher in the Davenport and North Scott Community School Districts.

Stacey Rolenc joins the staff at Red Oak High School.  Mrs. Rolenc will be a para-professional and assistant girls basketball coach.

Lois Sands joins her husband, Rick, as a member of the Red Oak School District Custodial Staff.  Mrs. Sands will work at Washington Intermediate and High School Tech Center.

Stacey Schellhammer joins the staffs of Inman Primary and Washington Intermediate as Elementary Guidance Counselor.  Ms. Schellhammer comes to Red Oak following her most recent teaching assignment at Desert Sands Middle School in Arizona.

Katie Schmid will teach 5th grade at Washington Intermediate.  Ms. Schmid, a Red Oak native, is at 2010 graduate of St. Ambrose University.

Andy Yost will teach physical education at the High School and Middle School.  In addition, Mr. Yost is the Head Football Coach and Weight Lifting Program Supervisor.  He comes to Red Oak from Sioux City West High School.

Chris Zarkos is the Guidance Counselor at Red Oak Middle School.  Mrs. Zarkos returns to her home state from Tucson, AZ where she was an Elementary School Registrar.
