Red Oak Schools Welcome New Staff for 2013 - 2014

Orientation Day for all new 2013 – 2014 teachers took place on Friday, August 9 with Supt. Terry Schmidt as the facilitator. Contributing to the special work day were Barbara Sims, Director of Curriculum & Instruction; Bob Deter, Director of Technology; Deb Blomstedt, Mentoring Coordinator; Shirley Maxwell, Business Manager; Kristie Konz, Red Oak Chamber & Industrial Association President; Montgomery County YMCA Leaders Nick Zimmer and John Blomstedt; and Doug Rieken, Red Oak community booster from Bank Iowa.

Supt. Terry Schmidt commented, β€œThe new employee group for 2013 -2014 is talented, enthusiastic, committed to excellence, and ready to go! The Red Oak Schools are pleased to present this group of new professionals who will lead students to success in learning while collaborating with other professional educators to strengthen all education programs.”
