I-JAG seeks a high school Education Specialist to fill a position at Red Oak High School, in the Red Oak School District, Red Oak, Iowa.  The Specialist will facilitate our performance-based program working with 11-12 graders in a non-traditional smaller learning community.  This full-time, year-round position requires a dedicated educator who is confident, a self-starter and can work collaboratively with our school and community partners. Experience with project-based and experiential education, school-to-work transition, career guidance, and service learning is preferred.   

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree, teaching experience, excellent communication, creativity, high-functioning team player, ability to advocate for youth and confidence with relationship building among I-JAG stakeholders.  Teacher certification preferred.  Position is non-contracted and non-IPERS.
