Red Oak Preschool Information

2025-2026 Red Oak Preschool

Red Oak Preschool provides quality learning experiences to help promote growth of young children and their families. We do this by offering a quality preschool program to 4 year olds and 3 year old children who are served by special education services.

Each of our classrooms are staffed by certified teachers. Our dedicated staff implement the Iowa Quality Preschool Performance Standards, Iowa Early Learning Standards, Connected 4 Learning curriculum, and Second Step which include hands-on learning experiences specifically geared towards exploration and play based learning.  The Pre-K curriculum also features the availability of an array of support services ranging from home visits to family events to screening referrals.

The Red Oak Preschool has braided funding streams from Iowa Statewide Voluntary Preschool, Head Start, Shared Visions and private pay to provide a high quality integrated preschool program to all students. All of the classrooms have students from each of the funding sources as well as special education.

Attending a high quality preschool program sets a solid foundation for students.
