For the last 3 years, the students of Red Oak Community Schools have enjoyed the business partnership established with Chat Mobility, a primary provider of wireless communications in the Red Oak area. Through this partnership, Chat Mobility returns 2.5% of a customer’s monthly access fee to the school district. From the $12,000 Chat Mobility shared with area school districts, Red Oak has received $2,376.42. Chat Mobility knows the shared funds have enriched school programs for learners as young as the pre-school four year olds to providing special events and activities for the oldest learners of Red Oak High School. Superintendent of Schools Terry Schmidt said this about the unique revenue sharing program, “Special appreciation is extended to Chat Mobility and its family of stores in Southwest Iowa who ask customers to share some of the revenue to help kids. Red Oak is pleased with all of its business partners and especially is thankful for this program in times of challenging budgets.”

All customers of Chat Mobility are strongly encouraged to contact their mobile provider and let them know they wish to help the schools. Red Oak continues to lead Southwest Iowa in generating the special shared dollars. Thanks to everyone who has made this possible.
